Capturing the World's Beauty,
One Journey at a Time
For nearly a decade, we've been leading photographers to the planet's most breathtaking locations, transforming passion into mastery through immersive experiences.
Iceland Workshop, 2024
Our Story
It started in 2015 with a crazy idea: What if we could combine world-class photography instruction with the kind of travel experiences usually reserved for luxury magazines?
That first expedition to Iceland—just six photographers chasing the Northern Lights—changed everything. We discovered that magic happens when you put passionate photographers in extraordinary locations with instructors who truly care about their growth.
Today, we've led hundreds of photographers across five continents, from the volcanic landscapes of Iceland to the wildlife-rich plains of Africa, from the ancient temples of Asia to the dramatic fjords of Norway.
Recognition & Trust
Our work has been featured in leading photography and travel publications worldwide. But what we're most proud of? The photographers who return year after year, and the friendships forged on mountain peaks and desert sunrises.
The PhotoTours Difference
We're not just another photo tour company. Here's what sets us apart and why photographers choose us again and again.
Intimate Group Sizes
Maximum 8 photographers per tour. Period. This isn't negotiable—it's how we ensure you get real, meaningful coaching, not just a crowd following a guide.
Award-Winning Instructors
Our guides aren't just talented photographers—they're published, exhibited artists who've spent years mastering their craft and learning how to teach it effectively.
Premium Everything
Boutique hotels, private transportation, gourmet meals. After chasing golden hour, you deserve to relax in comfort—not compromise on accommodations.
Flexible & Adaptive
Weather changes? We pivot. Group wants to stay longer at a location? We adjust. Our itineraries are guides, not mandates—we chase the light, not schedules.
Our Commitment to the Planet
As photographers, we're uniquely positioned to witness the planet's beauty—and its fragility. That's why sustainability isn't an afterthought for us; it's fundamental to how we operate.
We partner with local guides who know and love their regions. We stay in locally-owned accommodations whenever possible. We keep group sizes small to minimize our footprint. And we actively contribute to conservation efforts in every destination we visit.
Our Promise:
- ✓ 100% carbon-offset expeditions
- ✓ 5% of proceeds support conservation
- ✓ Leave No Trace principles on every shoot
- ✓ Support for local communities
